Author Description Robert Edward Hamner (7 July 1928 – 25 April 1996; age 67) either wrote for or produced (or sometimes both) about thirty five different television series, , including <i>Hawaiian Eye, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, A Man Called Shenandoah, Star Trek (episode "A Taste of Armageddon"), The Time Tunnel, Run for Your Life, Lost in Space, Ironside, Hawaii Five-O, Planet of the Apes (episode "The Legacy")</i> and <i>Wonder Woman</i>. He is best known as the creator of the police procedural show <i>S.W.A.T.</i> He worked from the late sixties until shortly before his death.
